National Association of Black Border Patrol Agents

President Moses serves as a Supervisory Border Patrol Agent for the Miami Sector. Moses actively participates and enjoys Recruiting, Honor Guard, and Community Outreach Engagements.

Prior to becoming a Border Patrol Agent, Moses served as a Police Officer. She was inspired by her father, who is a former FBI Unit Chief to pursue a career in law enforcement.

As of now, Moses is working toward a Doctoral degree and hopes to make a positive impact on the Border Patrol.

First Vice President Smith serves as a Supervisory Border Patrol Agent for the Laredo Sector, he has served as an agent since 2009. He began his career in the El Paso Sector and remained there for ten years, dedicating himself to many collateral duties. Smith served as a Canine Handler, Union Steward, Explorer Advisor, Peer Support Member, President of the Canine Center MWR, Mobile Response Team Member, and a Canine Instructor.

In March of 2020, Smith became a Supervisory Border Patrol Agent.

Second Vice President Godson serves as a Supervisory Border Patrol Agent for the Del Rio Sector, he has served as an agent since 2008. Godson is currently the Peer Support Facilitator for Del Rio Sector. Additionally, he has served in many roles such as Union Steward, Peer Support Coordinator, Field Training Officer, Recruiter, and a Course Development Instructor at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy.

In September of 2020, Godson became a Supervisory Border Patrol Agent.

Godson graduated Murray State University with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice.

Communications Officer Raines serves as a Border Patrol Agent for the Big Bend Sector. Raines serves as a Peer Support Member, Diversity & Inclusion Committee Member, and a CBP National Recruiter.

Raines joined NABBPA to help create a space where culture and experiences can be shared.

Prior to becoming an agent, Raines served as a Police Officer. Currently, she holds a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Public Administration.

Secretary Wingard serves as a Border Patrol Agent for the Big Bend Sector.

Her current goal is to contribute positively to recruitment, diversity, and retention efforts within the Border Patrol.

Wingard joined the National Association of Black Border Patrol Agents to help provide a support system for fellow agents.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, a Master's degree in Public Administration, and is pursuing a Doctoral degree in Psychology.

Treasurer Desgraves serves as a Supervisory Border Patrol Agent for the Laredo Sector, he has served as an agent since 2009. Desgraves is a member of Honor Guard and Peer Support. Also, he is an EMT and former United States Marine.

Desgraves joined the National Association of Black Border Patrol Agents (NABBPA) to help incoming agents navigate their career and become knowledgeable about the United States Border Patrol.
